When Lemond Bishop is on ‘The Good Wife’, you never know what’s going to happen. Mike Colter has returned for season six and he spilled to HollywoodLife.com all about Bishop’s role this season.
Season six of The Good Wife is in full swing and Lemond Bishop is back! With Cary in jail and Alicia deciding to run for State’s Attorney, where does that leave Bishop? Mike Colter teases to HollywoodLife.com about what fans can expect, including Bishop staying on Alicia’s “good side” now that she’s made this big decision!
‘The Good Wife’ Season 6: Bishop’s Staying On Alicia’s ‘Good Side’
On the Oct. 5 episode of The Good Wife, Alicia finally took Eli’s advice and decided to run for State’s Attorney. Bishop’s been in the mix after Cary’s incarceration, and it seems like he’s keeping close to Alicia. Does he want to stay connected so he rise with her political power?
“I think he has a great respect for her [Alicia],” Mike says of Bishop. “They’ve worked together for a time now. When he first started working with her in her firm, she was just coming into her own. Bishop’s a very instinctual person. I think he does things because he knows it will pay off in some way.”
Yeah, Alicia being State’s Attorney might be real good for Bishop.
“Ultimately, he’s a loyal guy,” Mike continues. “Cary’s in a precarious situation and Bishop’s taking his time trying to figure out what his next best move. If he feels like it’s advantageous to keep Cary around and stay on Alicia’s good side.”
‘The Good Wife’: What’s Bishop’s Next Big Move?
Mike also dished that the upcoming episodes will blow your mind. You won’t see the twists coming. (Please, not another Will Gardner situation!)
“The next few episodes are going to change gears and we’re going to find another pursuit,” Mike told HollywoodLife.com. “Bishop always has something up his sleeve and he always has something gong on that your’e not expecting. People are going to be surprised at what happens next. It’s not what you’re expecting at all.”
We have a feeling we’re not prepared.
