Police believe they have identified Suge Knight’s shooter two months after he was shot six times at a party hosted by Chris Brown — find out why they still can’t make an arrest!
At a VMA pre-party hosted by Chris Brown, 25, rap mogul Suge Knight, 49, was shot six times early in the morning of Aug. 24. Nearly two months later, police believe that they’ve identified the shooter, according to TMZ; however, they still can’t make any arrests!
Suge Knight’s Shooter Identified By Police: Why They Still Can’t Make An Arrest
Basically: snitches get stitches. Even Suge, who already earned his fair share of stitches after being shot six times, is not talking. Nor is anybody else.
Police have reviewed security footage from inside the club at the time of the shooting and are reasonably confident they have their man, but every witness they’ve spoken to has remained mum on the gunman’s identity.
As it stands, police don’t have enough evidence to make an arrest and are still waiting for a “golden witness” to come forward, says TMZ.
Chris Brown Collaborated With Police After Suge Knight Shooting
It was initially alleged by eyewitnesses inside the club that Chris was the intended target of the gunman’s fire; however, as HollywoodLife.com later learned, Chris had nothing to do with the shooting and even cooperated with authorities every step of the way. He’d have to, considering he was on probation at the time.
Suge’s recovery is nothing short of miraculous — he’s now sporting some gnarly scars, but he has healed just fine after taking an incredible six bullets. After he was shot, the adrenaline coursing through his body actually allowed him to walk out of the club on his own two feet! Until he collapsed, that is, and police took him to a nearby hospital.
HollywoodLifers, do you think that police will ever make an arrest? Or will a witness never come forward? Let us know!
