Emily (Emily VanCamp) has quite the target on her back! On the Oct. 12, episode of Revenge,Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) re-emerges and continues her crusade to bring Emily down, while her father, David Clarke (James Tupper) and Charlotte Grayson (Christa B. Allen) both join team Victoria!
Charlotte Grayson Meets David Clarke — Learns Her Father Is Alive
Jack (Nick Wechsler) to the rescue — yet again! Although Charlotte may have tried to kill Emily in the fire, Jack arrived just in time to carry her out to safety. While Charlotte is dealing with her own issues, Daniel (Joshua Bowman) and Margaux’s (Karine Vanasse) relationship continues to heat up.
Meanwhile, David and Victoria are hiding away — and shared their first kiss! Victoria is definitely playing up how scared she is of Emily, and David is keeping Victoria in his sights at all times in an attempt to keep her safe.
While Emily heals from the fire, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) arrived with news that Victoria has emerged, yet Emily played coy and said, “I have other things to do today.” Victoria then shows up at Daniel’s hotel where she gives him financial information to get the Grayson family back on its feet and back to its former status — it definitely was not the friendliest of welcomes since Daniel and Charlotte both think that their mother abandoned them for the last six months.
It looks like Emily may not be the only one who is after Victoria. Louise, the girl who Victoria used to get out of the mental hospital has shown up and is definitely on Victoria’s case — and we don’t blame her!
Jack finds out everything! After Emily told a new lie saying that she was alone in the bar, the truth has been revealed and Jack now knows that Emily revealed her family ties with the troubled teen. She told Jack, “I’m sticking with my statement. No one else was in the bar.”
‘Revenge’ — Victoria Grayson Threatens Emily Thorne
As if Charlotte needed more on her plate, who shows up on her doorstep, but Victoria! Of course Charlotte spills the beans and reveals all of Emily’s secrets to her mother to which Victoria says, “That pathological creature is going to get what she deserves.” Not only that, but Victoria takes Charlotte to live with her and reveals that David is alive.
Charlotte and David meet for the first time and embrace — it all seems a little too normal, Emily must have some master plan up her sleeve! Victoria then lies to David saying, “From the moment she (Charlotte) knew you were her father she has been trying to prove your innocence.” While this clearly is a lie David couldn’t have been happier to hear it and was beaming from ear to ear.
In a bold move, Emily walked straight up to the house where David, Victoria and Charlotte are all hiding, but unfortunately Victoria saw her approaching the house and walked outside with a shotgun. While she had the opportunity to kill Emily on the spot she chose not to saying, “No, that would be too easy. I owe you so much more than a quick death. Buckle up sweetheart.” It definitely sounds like a major show-down is going to happy is the very near future.
While Victoria continues to look for money she asked David to stay in their hideaway and look after Charlotte while she rests. It looks like he has other plans as he is shown putting a knife in his back pocket and heading out the door.
Daniel then meets Louise down in the bar and he learns that the two have plenty of things in common, including their similar upbringing and recent financial troubles. Victoria may have solved Daniels troubles though, she taps his new love interest, Margaux for a loan.
At the end of the episode David appears in Emily’s bedroom with a hood on and a knife in hand — thankfully Nolan was there with a shotgun to protect her!
