Hozier turned 30 Rock into a place of worship when he performed a pair of tracks off his self-titled LP, Hozier, including his current hit “Take Me To Church,” on the Oct. 11 episode of Saturday Night Live.

During his first performance, the singer brought just enough soul to the bluesy track. And we definitely felt the lyrics!
Surprise guest Kristen Wiig introduced Hozier’s second performance, during which he sang “Angel of Small Death & the Codeine Scene.”
During both songs, Hozier showed off his amazing singing abilities — we were so impressed. We definitely think we’ll be seeing a lot more of the 24-year-old singer for years to come!

Jan Hooks Tribute On ‘Saturday Night Live’
During the Bill Hader-hosted episode, Saturday Night Live also paid tribute to former cast member Jan Hooks, who died on Oct. 9. The show’s tribute included a wonderful short film from 1987 featuring Jan and Phil Hartman.
