Shia LaBeouf Interview: Reveals Horrifying Jail Time
Ellen DeGeneres hasn’t been keeping up with the news on Shia — but she totally asked him about it on the show, which airs Oct. 10!
“You’ve had quite an interesting life in the last year or so,” she said nonchalantly. “I really don’t pay attention to stuff, but uh, what happened?”
Of course, she was referring to the past year where he’s been acting a little strange — wearing paper bags on his head, urinating on restaurant walls, etc.
“Man, I went through like an existential crisis, which turned into kind of like, a, explorations,” he added. “I had some hiccups, some judgment errors.”
Shia Turns His Life Around
So, Ellen asked him the same thing we were thinking — what scared him straight? He simply answered “jail,” adding that he felt like he was there forever, but it was only 24 or 25 hours. This was in June after he was escorted out of Cabaret for disrupting the audience — and then spit on a cop.
“I really went all the way with it. They put a Hannibal mask on me and a led jacket. It was very scary,” he revealed. “I spit on a cop. That’s a no, no. I’m sorry if you’re watching, dude. I’m sorry. That was crazy, man.”
Well, we’re so happy to see Shia back to normal and apologizing. Plus, we saw his new movie and Fury is definitely a must-see. Do you think he’s done with his crazy antics, HollywoodLifers?
