Jeremy Renner Talks ‘Kill The Messenger’ — Reveals Personal ‘Life Altering’ Experience
In the film, Jeremy plays a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Gary Webb, who stumbles upon a life changing story. At the premiere, we asked Jeremy if he has every experienced anything similar in his own life that has completely changed his perspective on the world.
He responded, “Well ya, a lot of things, going to a Walter Reed hospital, that’ll change your life. Every city that I go to that has one, I go into it, always changes my perspective on things. Those are gifts, wonderful gifts, not always pleasant mind you, but things that change your perspective in a life altering way is a beautiful thing if you ask me.”
In September, Jeremy revealed to Capitol File that he and Canadian model Sonni Pacheco had actually married.
“I have tried to protect my family’s privacy, my wife’s privacy. I don’t need her to get hammered with my life,” he told the mag. “Privacy issues are important because I want her to go about her day without being bothered.”
Another thing that has changed his life is becoming a father. “It’s the best thing I have ever done … I achieved a lot of things that I wanted to achieve; I’m so blessed for that. Now I can really spend time with the family. The only thing I think about when I’m not with my baby is, ‘How do I get to my baby? I need to get to her,’ and I’m very miserable when I don’t see her.” How cute?!
