Even though it was Angelina Jolie’s special moment as Queen Elizabeth II made her an honorary dame, all 6 of her and Brad Pitt’s children were dressed to impress and on hand to meet the royal in person!
Angelina Jolie, 39, is always putting her children first — even when the spotlight should be her. When the actress was honored by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, Angelina brought along her kids — Maddox, 13, Zahara, 9, Pax, 10, Shiloh, 8, Vivienne, and Knox, both 6 — so that they could be properly introduced to the Queen herself. How exciting is that?
Angelina Jolie Introduces Her 6 Children To Queen Elizabeth II
If your mom were being honored by the Queen of England, wouldn’t you want to be in attendance to rub shoulders with royalty?
Well, in the Jolie-Pitt childrens case, they not only got to rub shoulders… they also got to shake hands!
According to Us Weekly‘s report, Angelina brought along her 6 kids — all dressed to the nines for the special occasion, with mom in Ralph & Russo couture — so that they could meet the Queen herself.
“The kids were very excited to be at Buckingham Palace. Everyone dressed up really smart,” a source close to the family revealed.
This just goes to show who is truly important to Angelina, and that is definitely her 6 children. Sadly, it appears as if her husband, Brad Pitt, 50, was not in attendance. We’re sure his heart was there in spirit!
Maddox’s Girlfriend Is From London
Although Angelina’s moment with the Queen was a family affair, it was recently revealed that they spend a lot of time in London, England because that’s where Maddox’s girlfriend is from. (His first!)
He’s got a girlfriend. She’s great. I won’t embarrass him, but she’s lovely,” Angelina told Entertainment Tonight‘s Nancy O’Dell at the Maleficent premiere in May 2014.
Because she’s such a “cool” mom, Angelina didn’t spill too much about her son’s first serious lady, but she did reveal that the girl is from overseas.
“She lives in England. We go there as often as possible, but it’s really, really sweet. She’s a great lady, so I’m lucky. So far we’re doing good.”
Before her and Brad know it, little Zahara will have her first boyfriend. Sure hope they are prepared for that one!
