So sad. Fans are absolutely heart broken that one of the most beloved TV dads is involved in an alleged child molestation case!
While most kids who grew up in the early ’00s know him as Reverend Camden, the beloved father on 7th Heaven, Stephen Collins is not feeling the love today. Social media absolutely blew up on Oct. 7, following the news the the 67-year-old actor allegedly admitted to sexually molesting underage girls.
Stephen Collins: Child Molestation Case Causes Backlash
Stephen is currently under investigation, TMZ reported, after he allegedly admitted to his wife, Faye Grant, 57, that he had molested multiple underage girls. The couple are currently in the middle of a divorce and the admission came out during a couples therapy session.
In the audio, the actor allegedly confesses to molesting to a girl, 11, who was a relative of his first wife.
“There was one moment of touching where her hand, I put her hand on my penis,” the man on the audio says, adding that he exposed himself to her “a couple of times” over the next two years. He also mentions a girl in LA, and another 12 or 13-year-old girl in NY.
Needless to say, fans are deeply upset about the TV dad, who played Reverend Camden on 7th Heaven, which aired from 1996-2007. Here’s what they’re saying:
