The vibe on this new track is just what you’d expect from Pharrell and Daft Punk — electropop and amazing. We absolutely adore the music video as well — it’s making us fall even more in love with the song than we already are!
We don’t want to give away too many details about the video, but we’ll try to sum up our favorite bits. You’ll see Daft Punk helmets carved into rock, tons of cool choreography, and a hot new clapping move that you’ll be trying to learn in no time!
What’s Next For Pharrell?
Pharrell is riding what may be the biggest wave of his career right now, which began with his last huge jam with Daft Punk, “Get Lucky.” That hit was followed by one of the most-listened-to songs of 2014, “Happy.”
Pharrell is managing to put out these songs and videos while being a staple judge on one of the country’s top reality TV shows, The Voice. Plus, Pharrell is reportedly working on another collaboration with fellow Voice judge Gwen Stefani, 45, with whom he made one of her hugest hits, “Hollaback Girl.” We cannot wait!
If that’s not dizzying enough for you — get this. According to InStyle magazine, the jack of all trades is working alongside French leather luxury goods brand Moynat to release a collection of train-themed bags and accessories that will be available in late October!
Tell us what YOU think of Pharrell and Daft Punk’s new video, HollywoodLifers! Do you think it’s as good as “Get Lucky”?
