Lea Salonga: See Jasmine Sing ‘A Whole New World’
Lea, who also voiced fellow Disney Princess, Mulan, is now a coach for the Philippines edition of The Voice.
We also checked out Lea’s Twitter and we were instantly drawn to a sentimental image from Aladdin of Jasmine kissing Genie on the cheek.
Naturally, after watching the reunion video of “A Whole New World,” we here at HollywoodLife.com could not help but miss the man behind the iconic Genie: Robin Williams.
Hollywood’s Heartbreaking ‘Aladdin’ Tribute To Robin Williams
In the wake of Robin William’s tragic death on Aug. 11, Hollywood took to twitter to pay tribute to the late comedian’s legacy. Robin Williams, who died from an apparent suicide at age 63, certainly left a lasting impression on many people with his dynamic roles. Khloe Kardashian, 30, was among the many celebrities who loved Robin Williams role as the Genie.
Back on August 11. the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posted an iconic image from the movie on her Instagram. Below the picture the captions reads, “Genie, you’re free! #RIP #RobbinWilliams #Sad.”
In honor of Robin Williams, we sure will have this song playing on repeat all day.
