‘Interstellar’ is so close, yet so far! In theaters November 7, check out the newest trailer for Christopher Nolan’s latest masterpiece where we get a closer look than ever at Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway’s out-of-this-world mission.

Matthew McConaughey‘s “McConaissance” continues Nov. 7 in Interstellar. The most recent trailer for Christopher Nolan‘s space odyssey finally gives some proper screentime to Anne Hathaway and to the great beyond — check out the gorgeous footage and let us know if you’ll be watching!

‘Interstellar’: Matthew McConaughey & Anne Hathaway In New Trailer — Watch

Matthew plays Cooper, a widowed engineer and ex-pilot who is called upon when a wormhole is discovered in space. Along with Anne’s Amelia Brand and a host of other famous faces, our travelers embark on a mission to transcend the limits of space travel in order to save humanity from a catastrophic food shortage.

Cooper makes the tough choice to leave his children behind in order to keep them from being the last generation to survive on earth, as Michael Caine‘s character so succinctly put it, and Amelia tells Cooper: “You might have to decide between seeing your children again and the future of the human race.”

‘Interstellar’: Many Details Of The Film Still Shrouded In Mystery

The gorgeous views of a galaxy beyond our solar system are totally breathtaking in Interstellar‘s latest trailer, but a lot of questions remain.

Ever since the film was announced in 2006 with Steven Spielberg originally attached to direct, Interstellar has been relatively shrouded in mystery.

As the most complete trailer we’ve seen yet, it’s still difficult to get a full grasp of each character’s role and how exactly our intrepid travelers will save the world, the importance of which is impressed upon over and over by Michael Caine’s character as well as quick cuts of dust storms and crop fires.

All we know is that we’re basically dying to see this film. HollywoodLifers, will you be seeing Interstellar on Nov. 7? Or will you be skipping this one? Let us know!
