Chris Brown is in the middle of major drama after he allegedly shoved a female fan at Limelight nightclub in Houston, Texas. But now, the club’s owner tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY what really went down. It’s not what you think!
It seems like everyone has an opinion about the latest club drama involving Chris Brown, 25 — and that includes the club owner who saw the incident first hand! After video surfaced that allegedly shows Chris pushing a woman, Limelight’s owner says the incident has been blown “out of proportion” and the woman is “fine.”
Chris Brown: Limelight Club Owner Says Incident Blown ‘Out Of Proportion’
HollywoodLife.com has spoken with a man named J.R. — he says he owns Limelight nightclub, the place where the alleged Chris Brown shoving incident occurred. He says what’s been reported about this incident hasn’t been completely true.
“I was right there and saw it all,” J.R. tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “I think the the media is just blowing it out of proportion.”
As we previously reported, the female fan reportedly jumped in front of Chris and tried to kiss him — and that’s when the singer attempted to get the woman out of his way.
“Chris didn’t push, shove or attack anybody,” a source close to Chris told us EXCLUSIVELY. “That woman came from out of nowhere; he didn’t even see her. For all he knew, he could have been under attack in that moment.” Our source continued to explain.
“He was walking and was looking behind him, talking to [girlfriend Karrueche Tran, 26], and when he turned around to go up the stairs, he felt something or someone grabbing his face and he reacted like anyone else would and tried to block his face,” the source explained. “In that moment, he didn’t know if someone was trying to hit him or what, all he did was try to shield his face. He didn’t push anyone.” It sounds like Chris was just trying to protect himself!
Do YOU agree with the club owner, HollywoodLifers? Do you think this has all been blown out of proportion? Let us know!
