Chris is under fire once again after he allegedly shoved a woman at Limelight Houston nightclub on Sept. 27. But now HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY tell you what really happened that fateful night.
Is Chris Brown‘s latest club drama all just a misunderstanding? Chris, 25, was “caught way off guard and didn’t even know what was going on” when the woman in question approached him at the club, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Here’s what went down.
Did Chris Brown Push Woman At Nightclub? — Real Reason Revealed
Chris is going on the defensive after being accused of pushing a female fan who reportedly jumped in front of him and tried to kiss him at Lightlight Houston on Sept. 27.
“Chris didn’t push, shove or attack anybody,” a source close to Breezy tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “That woman came from out of nowhere; he didn’t even see her. For all he knew, he could have been under attack in that moment.”
“He was walking and was looking behind him, talking to [girlfriend Karrueche Tran, 26], and when he turned around to go up the stairs, he felt something or someone grabbing his face and he reacted like anyone else would and tried to block his face,” the source explains. “In that moment, he didn’t know if someone was trying to hit him or what, all he did was try to shield his face. He didn’t push anyone.”
Well, it sounds like Chris was just trying to protect himself, and possibly Karrueche, and there’s certainly no harm in that.
The incident occurred when Chris was promoting his new album X during an appearance at Limelight Houston. There is a somewhat fuzzy video of the encounter, which appears to show Chris pushing the woman back with his right forearm before continuing to walk through the club.
Chris’s attorney, Mark Geragos, told HollywoodLife.com, “He didn’t shove anyone … I would hope you would watch and see he didn’t do a thing.”
