Country super-star, Jason Aldean, 37, is engaged to his girlfriend, Brittany Kerr, 26! The Daily Mail reports that they couple was allegedly on a private tour of the San Diego Zoo on Sept. 24, when Jason asked the former American Idol contestant to marry him!

Such exciting news for Jason and Brittany! TMZ reports that Jason asked Brittany to be his wife during the West Coast leg of his tour!
Brittany took to her Instagram to share a picture from their time at the zoo where she is seen feeding a seal! She captioned the cute pic, “My man did it again. Today was amazing💙 #sandiegozoo #myeverything.”
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, in 2012 the couple made headlines when they reportedly made out while Jason was still married to his ex-wife, Jessica Ussery. The former couple was married in 2001 and have two children together.
According to EnStarz, at the time of the scandal Brittany said, “The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part. I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends & family.”
Now the happily in love pair are ready to take their relationship to the next level and leave their scandal behind them!
Jason Aldean Speaks Out About Former Scandal
In a recent interview with Billboard, Jason opened up about wanting to move forward from the scandal. “It has been two years of this shit — get over it, already!” he said. “And then when I finally do get enough of it and say something, every newspaper grabs it. And I’m not trying to get in the headlines — I’m just trying to get people to stop running their mouths.”
Jason posted a lengthy quote to his Instagram to try and let people know that it is time to move on. The picture reads, “You know my name, not my story. You’ve heard what I’ve done, not what I’ve been through.”
He captioned the picture:
So sick of people judging me and @brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but i am a better person because of it, and wouldnt change a thing.
