John Cena is back! The WWE wrestler beat opponent Brock Lesnar at the WWE Night of Champions on Sept. 21 just weeks after a devastating defeat at SummerSlam.
It was a great night for John Cena, 37, at the WWE Night of Champions. The wrestler won his match against Brock Lesnar, 37, via disqualification on Sept. 21 in Nashville, Tennessee. Unfortunately for John though is that the WWE World Heavyweight Title remains with Brock Lesnar.
WWE Night Of Champions: John Cena Wins
Once again, the main event on one of WWE’s biggest nights came down to John and Brock. The Cenation leader and former World champion won the match against Brock at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
After an intense fight between John and Brock, John was deemed the winner after Brock was disqualified due to interference from Seth Rollins, according to Bleacher Report. However, that doesn’t mean John didn’t deserve the win.
Despite this win, Brock still retains the title of WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Looks like we might have a future battle on our hands between the two!
