Howard is devastated over the death of, Eric ‘The Actor’ Lynch, who was an integral part of his morning show. The king of radio remembered the hilarious personality during his Sept. 22 show and even if you aren’t a loyal listener, you are bound to tear up.
Howard Stern wants to make sure that no one ever forgets, Eric “The Actor” Lynch. Eric, the famous caller turned radio personality, died Sept. 20, after battling multiple health problems, that were a direct result of his severe dwarfism. Eric made quite an impact on Howard’s life and it was very apparent during his show that he truly cared about his quirky friend and he made a point to tell the world that Eric was “the greatest.”

Howard dedicated most of his show to the death of Eric.
“I was almost amazed how feisty he was … what I loved about him is that most people in Eric’s condition would be bitter,” he said. “But Eric loved life … he loved show business.”
Howard went on to say: “Out of all of this he still carried on like a maniac, and it was the greatest … I just loved the guy” He also said that he was one of the “greatest Stern callers ever.”
Eric’s famous tagline was “bye for now,” and it began to trend on Twitter worldwide after his death.
