Now that is the flying V we’ve been waiting 20 years to see! The cast of the 1994 sequel got back together and lucky for us, captured the whole reunion for Instagram — see the pics here.
Quack, quack, quack! The ducks must have heard their calling — we couldn’t believe that the cast of the sequel, D2: The Mighty Ducks, which hit theaters in March 1994, got back together for an impromptu photo shoot on Sept. 22. See all the pics here: from the classic “Flying V,” to Connie reuniting with Guy!
‘D2: The Mighty Ducks’ Reunion
Here’s a break down of the pics. The group photo was posted on Marguerite Moreau‘s Instagram account — she played Connie Moreau in the Mighty Ducks trilogy.
From the left, we see Mike Vitar, who portrayed Luis Mendoza and Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez in The Sandlot); Garette Ratliff Henson who played Guy Germaine, Marguerite, Vincent LaRusso who played Adam Banks; Aaron Lohr, who played Dean Portman, and Scott Whyte — somehow the Ducks reunited with the enemy, Iceland captain Gunnar Stahl!
Next, Marguerite shared a pic with Mike. “Close up of Vitar as requested #mightyducks #mD2 #20yearreunion,” it read. She also shared a pic of Matt Doherty (Averman) “talking shop with writer/creator of the Ducks Steven Brill.”
D2, 10 Years Later
Her husband, Christopher Redman also posted a super cute pic of Marguerite with her on-screen boyfriend, Guy kissing her cheek! “Guy asked if he could kiss Connie. I said ….fine. #mightyducks reunion,” he captioned it.
Marguerite then posed with Julie, the Cat for a cute pic, too!
Sadly, Joshua Jackson, who played Charlie, and Emilio Estevez who played Bombey, were not in attendance. I guess we’ll take what we can get . . . but we thought Ducks flew together!
Do you wish the rest of the cast came too? Do you think they should make another film? Do you think they should just let it go already? Let us know!
