Colin Farrell Cast In ‘True Detective’ Season Two

Finally, we have some answers regarding True Detective season two! After months of rumored casting, Colin confirmed he was cast on the show.

“I’m doing the second series,” he said in an interview with Sunday World. “I’m so excited.”

Colin also revealed more scoop about the new season.

“I know it will be eight episodes and take around four or five months to shoot.  I know very little about it, but we’re shooting in the environs of Los Angeles which is great.  It means I get to stay at home and see the kids.”

The other major roles are still being cast at this time. However, this season will focus on three detectives, rather than just two. Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kitsch, 33, Mad Men actress Elisabeth Moss, 32, and rom-com queen Rachel McAdams, 35, are reportedly circling big roles.

After a fantastic first season, with mind-blowing performances from Matthew McConaughey, 44, and Woody Harrelson, 53, Colin is going to have big shoes to fill. We think he’s up to the challenge.

HollywoodLifers, do you think Colin Farrell is a good addition to True Detective? Who else will be cast next? Sound off on your thoughts below!
