Jeremy Scott may have been having the most fun of anyone in NYC over the past few months. Just take a look at his wildly colored collection of happy clothes that would look terrific on Miley Cyrus and the extroverted Iggy Azalea, and you’ll see why!
Jeremy Scott’s Spring 2015 NYFW Psychedelic Collection Is Perfect For Miley Cyrus
These two buddies have become such good friends and mutual muses that his wild, Woodstock looks and accessories have already appeared on Miley, 21, on her Instagram or on stage. Or did Jeremy rummage through Miley’s closet first before before creating his own versions?
I swear I’ve seen Miley sporting teddy bear slippers in her pics and then there they were, marching down the runway on models!
Well, whoever influenced whom, it’s a terrific collaboration. Miley apparently designed Scott’s playful accessories — long multi-colored plastic earrings, chunky pop-colored necklaces, bracelets and hair wreaths, and adorable Hello Kitty-esque hair baubles.
The clothes themselves are exactly what loads of free-spirited young women are going to want to wear. Psychedelic babydoll mini dresses, flower-power patterned capri pants and crop tops, and oversized tie-dye T-shirts over soft skirts are going to make modern-day hippie chicks very happy!
For girls who love an edgier look, there are playful, skull-patterned (can we use playful and skulls together?) sundresses and skirts married with bra tops.
Pumpkin happy face T-shirts and Flintstone footprint evening dresses spread the fun from casual days to party evenings.
Of course, no one looks better in Jeremy Scott’s looks than Miley herself, and the adorable pop star sat front row and then joined Jeremy on the runway.
She also unveiled her first art exhibit at the show — a series of sculptures called “Dirty Hippie” that were as creative and playful as Scott’s collection!
Congrats to both of you, Miley and Jeremy!
HollywoodLifers, do you love Jeremy Scott’s spring collection like I do? Let me know.
