Magic may not be Emily’s strong suit, but she has some serious pipes! And those pipes are going to carry the ‘America’s Got Talent’ runner up, who lost to magician Mat Franco, a very long way, she revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Thankfully, we haven’t seen the last of Emily West!
Emily West, 33, may not have walked away from the America’s Got Talent finale as the winner on Sept. 17, but she certainly has a promising future ahead of her, which includes the release of her very own album.
Emily West Interview: New Music In The Works After ‘AGT’ Finale
“The next step is I’m going to be releasing a record very soon,” Emily told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, following the finale, when asked what we can expect from her going forward.
We’re so happy to hear that Emily will be releasing new music in the very near future. Throughout the season, she demonstrated her amazing vocal ability, but it was her performance of “True Colors” with Cindi Lauper on the season finale that left us salivating for more.
Luckily, we’ll be getting new Emily West music. And despite her second place finish, Emily doesn’t feel like anyone in the competition walked away a loser.
“I feel like we’re all winners here, and I don’t mean to sound like a Disney princess, but honestly, I’m a fan of Disney and I want to be the people’s princess. I feel like we need another one, and I’m willing to take the throne,” she told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Mat, who competed against heartthrob Miguel Dakota, Emily, acrobatic group AcroArmy, musicians Sons of Serendip and 12-year-old singer Quintavious Johnson, will headline his own show in Las Vegas after walking away with the $1 million dollar prize!
