R&B singer, August Alsina remains in the hospital after collapsing on stage during a performance on Sept. 15, in New York City. A new report claims that the artist fainted due to, “exhaustion and dehydration.”
Up and coming R&B artist, August Alsina, 22, is still in the hospital after collapsing on stage during a performance at the Irving Plaza in New York City on Sept. 15! TMZ reports that he is being treated for seizures and that, “doctors did not find any drugs — other than marijuana” in his system!
August Alsina Hospitalized — Remains In ICU
A source revealed to TMZ that August is still at a New York City hospital, and is currently being treated for seizures. While “doctors did not find any drugs — other than marijuana” in his system, the artist remains in the ICU.
The Daily Mail reports that in the video August is seen getting close to the crowd before suddenly collapsing and falling to the ground. A witness revealed that the singer was, “unconscious when security guards moved him backstage after his fall.”
According to the site, paramedics then arrived at the venue where the artist was carried out on a stretcher.
While August may have been carried out on a stretcher TMZ reported that he was thankfully well enough to wave to his fans as he was carried out on a stretcher.
August still may be making his mark on the music industry, but he is definitely one to watch. The artist walked away with two BET Awards back in June, including the award for Best New Artist! He also released a remix of his track “No Love” with Nicki Minaj back in July!
