After months of intense competition and immense talent, ‘America’s Got Talent’ crowned its season 9 champion on Sept. 17! Are you surprised by the act that walked away with the grand prize?

A winner has been chosen! Season 9 of America’s Got Talent drew to a close on Sept. 17, after months of fierce competition! Find out which extremely talented act will headline their own show in Las Vegas and walked away with the $1 million dollar prize!

‘Americas Got Talent’ Winner — Season 9 Crowns Champ

Heart-throb, Miguel Dakota, magician, Mat Franco, singer, Emily West, acrobatic group, AcroArmy, musicians, Sons of Serendip and 12-year-old singer, Quintavious Johnson delivered their final performances of the season on part one of the season finale on Sept. 16, but that of course didn’t mean that the pressure was off during the live finale!

While the six acts waited for their fate to be announced, Pitbull and Ed Sheeran were on hand to give amazing performances and show off their immense talent!

In the totally star-studded event, Jennifer Hudson sang with Quintavious, Lenny Kravitz and Miguel teamed up, Travis Barker was with AcroArmy, Train sang “Drops of Jupiter” with Sons of SerendipMat Franco performed a trick with Rosie O’Donnell and Cindi Lauper and Emily sang, “True Colors!”

Such an amazing and action-packed night! All six acts deserve to walk away with the grand prize!

‘America’s Got Talent’ Winner Revealed

America has spoken, and Mat Franco is officially the winner of America’s Got Talent season nine!

Here’s how the rest of the top six placed:
6. Miguel Dakota
5. Quintavious Johnson
4. Sons of Serendip
3. AcroArmy
2. Emily West

Such a shocking night !We were at the live performance and everyone was booing loudly when Quintavious left the stage. While the audience was disappointed to see Miguel and Quintavious leave so soon, all the acts were extremely talented and it was a nail-biter up until the very end!

We are so happy for Mat, he is the first magician to win the competition and we can’t wait to see him take the nation by storm!
