‘Glee’ has officially caught ‘Frozen’ fever! Lea Michele revealed on September 12 that she will be singing a song we all know and love — ‘Let It Go!’
Get ready, Gleeks. Frozen is about to make its way to McKinley High. Lea Michele, 28, aka Rachel Berry posted a message on her Twitter announcing that she would be covering the Oscar-winning song “Let It Go” in Glee’s final season!
‘Glee’: Lea Michele Performing ‘Let It Go’ In Final Season
Lea revealed on September 12 what looks to be a set photo with the caption, “I don’t care.. What they’re going to say.. Let the storm rage on.. The cold never bothered me anyway…”
The singer wasn’t in Elsa’s signature blue gown, but she was wearing a sparkly gown fit for a queen.
This has us so excited for Glee’s return. Also, “Let It Go” was originally performed by the music queen herself, Idina Menzel, 43. Idina just so happened to play Rachel’s birth mother on the hit show!
The instant classic won the 2014 Academy Award for Best Original Song. We are absolutely certain that Lea will kill it onstage. (Everyone remembers “Defying Gravity” and “Don’t Rain On My Parade,” right?)
However, Glee isn’t the only television show featuring the movie’s song and its characters. Once Upon A Time has jumped on the Frozen sled and Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Hans will all be appearing in season four!
Glee’s 13-episode final season will premiere in 2015.
