Jon Heder’s Video For Girl With Cancer: Napoleon Dynamite Reprises Role
Mary Elizabeth has been in the hospital for months awaiting a bone marrow transplant, and one of her favorite ways to pass the time is watching the 2004 cult classic Napoleon Dynamite — A LOT.
“Mary Elizabeth just mentioned to one of her favorite nurses that she loved Napoleon Dynamite, and the next day, she brought [Mary Elizabeth] the movie,” Mary Elizabeth’s mother told the Today show. “We have watched that movie probably 15 times!”
After hearing Mary Elizabeth’s story on the show, viewers took to Twitter to ask Jon to send the little girl a message — and his response was epic! Watch the video above!
