The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star surrendered at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky on Sept. 11, but not before he posted a cryptic video on Instagram. Watch it here!
Apollo Nida, who went AWOL on Sept. 10, finally showed up at a federal prison in Lexington, Kentucky during the early morning hours of Sept. 11 to begin serving his 8-year prison sentence. In a new video posted to his Instagram account, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star says he’s “about to go asunder.” (Dramatic much?)
Apollo Nida Enters Jail — ‘RHOA’ Star Posts Instagram Video Before Surrendering
Watch Apollo’s cryptic video message below:
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Apollo failed to show up and turn himself in to authorities before his appointed deadline on Sept. 10.
Apollo reportedly got cold feet because wife Phaedra Parks refused to put money in his prison account while he was locked up, TMZ reports. Allegedly, the Housewife also refused to bring their kids to prison to visit him and that caused him to lose it.
Well, it looks like Apollo finally came to his senses and did the right thing. The police issued an arrest warrant after the reality star failed to come to jail on his own, so maybe fear gave him a bit of encouragement.
Jail Drama To Be Featured On ‘RHOA’
Luckily for Bravo fans, we’ll be able to catch all the drama on the next season of RHOA.
“Bravo has been shooting with Apollo and getting a lot with him leading up to him going to jail,” a source tells us. “So viewers will see it covered on season seven.”
Apollo has an eight-year prison sentence for money laundering and check fraud.
HollywoodLifers, do YOU think Phaedra should divorce Apollo?
