Jennifer Lawrence (as Katniss Everdeen) stuns in the fiery new poster for ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1.’ She looks SO ready to be the face of the rebellion!
‘Hunger Games’: New Poster For ‘Mockingjay – Part 1’ With Jennifer Lawrence
In Mockingjay — Part 1, Katniss Everdeen (played perfectly by JLaw) will face off with the Capitol. This movie is shaping up to be the darkest of the whole Hunger Games franchise!
In the movie poster, we see Katniss with her wings and arrows. She’s suited up and ready for action as bright orange flames burn brightly behind her. The poster’s tagline reads:
“The Courage Of One Will Change The World.” Those words perfectly sum up Katniss’ mission in this flick.
In the movie, Katniss has to save a Capitol-brainwashed Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson).
This poster is VERY dark — and it comes just about one week after the first Katniss poster for Mockingjay — Part 1 was released. In that poster, we didn’t get to see Katniss’ face. In this one, we see her determination and spirit.
This movie is going to be so good!

We also know that Lorde, 17, will curate this movie’s soundtrack! As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, in a statement released by Lionsgate, the studio announced that the singer had been tapped to curate the soundtrack!
“In addition to hand-picking the artists for The Mockingjay- Part 1 soundtrack, Lorde will provide the first single for the highly anticipated film and album. The soundtrack will be available via Republic Records this fall,” Lionsgate said. This is so exciting!
