‘Sons of Anarchy’ is about to come to a shocking end. On September 9, the final season kicks off and following the gory end to last season, we know it’s about to be filled with tears, deaths and a very unhappy Jax Teller.
We were heartbroken when learning that Sons of Anarchy was ending after its seventh season, but Executive Producer Paris Barclay feels that it’s definitely time. He previewed the final explosive season with HollywoodLife.com exclusively — and now we’re even more excited.
‘Sons of Anarchy’ Premiere
“I am totally bummed but at the same time I don’t think it should go on any longer,” Paris told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the premiere of the show on Sept. 6. “I think we should do the right thing for a television series and go out on a high, and it is not that we want to leave people left behind, but the story is just about to end.”
ICYMI (spoiler alert), the end of season six was . . . bloody, to say the least. We know that Jax (Charlie Hunnam) is not going to be a happy camper and has a dark few months ahead, after finding his beloved dead in the kitchen. We can only imagine his reaction when he finds out his mother killed her.
“We have really killed everyone that we can kill! I mean c’mon!” Paris added. “We will have to start killing the children if we stayed on the air, and we don’t really want to go there do we? No! But seriously the things that have unraveled with the story it really feels right to do it now!”
Well, we get that — but we’re totally bummed to see it go. What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you wish the show would go on? Or is it time to be over for good?
