Uh oh. Did Kate Middleton keep her pregnancy a secret from Prince William’s family, including Queen Elizabeth? A new report suggests that the royal family found out the news only hours before the rest of the world.
Kate Middleton, 32, had a secret that she kept from almost everyone — including her husband’s, 32-year-old Prince William, family. So, when exactly did Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, and the Middleton family find out that Kate was pregnant again? The answer may shock you!
Kate Middleton Hid Pregnancy From Queen Elizabeth II
Wow! Here is some news we definitely weren’t expecting.
According to Us Weekly, Kate somehow managed to hide her pregnancy from multiple family members — including her own parents and the queen herself, Elizabeth II.
“he Queen and Prince Philip were given the good news on Sunday morning,” the source reveals, which means they only found out about 24 hours before the Clarence House shared the news with the whole world.
“William and Kate told their parents the news this weekend,” the source continued.
Thankfully, there doesn’t appear to be any bad blood over Kate deciding to keep her pregnancy a secret for as long as she could. In fact, the source says that “everyone” in the family is “delighted” that Kate is pregnant again.
Believe it or not, another source shared that Kate only found out the news herself VERY recently. Unfortunately, no date is specified, but since it’s already been confirmed she is less than 12 weeks it makes sense that the news is still very new — even to her.
Something tells me this generation of royals are way cooler than any previous generation!
