Joan Rivers’ Apartment: Melissa Rivers May Never Sell; She’s Cried In Joan’s Bed
“[Melissa has] been [at Joan’s apartment] over the past weeks, crying,” said our insider. So sad. “She slept in Joan’s bed with Cooper [Endicott, Melissa’s son] and held him.
“They grieved together and wanted to be surrounded by Joan and be in her living space. It’s sort of like their sanctuary. So much of Joan is in the apartment and it keeps her memory alive.”
Melissa Rivers Has ‘Lots Of Good Memories’ In Joan Rivers’ Apartment
To that end, Melissa may never sell her closest link to her mother; however, “only time will tell,” our HollywoodLife.com source reveals. “It’s too early for her to think about that stuff.
“It was hell just planning her mother’s memorial. I can tell you that she does enjoy being there, however. It’s the one of the best ways for her to be close to Joan, in her ancient and over-the-top surroundings.
“She laughs there. She cries there. Lot of good memories there. I don’t think Mel will sell the place anytime soon, if ever. It’s worth a fortune and knowing Mel she’d likely keep it for ever.”
So sad. Our thoughts continue to go out to Melissa and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
