In a new clip from the Sept. 9 episode, Derick Dillard, 25, and his bride-to-be, take a tour of the same church where her parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, were married 20 years ago. Is that where they will finally tie the knot?
’19 Kids & Counting’: Jill & Derick Tour Wedding Venues
It’s almost time to watch Jill walking down the aisle to her now-husband, Derick!
A new clip from the Sept. 9 episode of 19 Kids lets us into the wonderful world of Duggar family wedding plan. The first thing on the couple’s check-off list? A venue that can hold up to — if not more than — 1,000 people.
One of the last places Jill and Derick visits is Cross Church in Springdale, Ark., which is where her parents married not once, but twice. The first time was in 1984, and the second was when they renewed their vows after having a dozen or so kids. Sweet!
In fact, Michelle is the couple’s chaperone for the day, and she is thrilled to see that they are considering the church for their upcoming nuptials.
It is truly so exciting to see all of the behind-the-scenes work that went into Jill and Derick’s wedding, especially since they planned it so quickly! As you may remember, the couple got engaged in March 2014 and wed just three months later in June.
So, do Jill and Derick decide on Cross Church or another venue they’ve visited? Check out the clip below to find out, and then be sure to watch the full episode at 10/9c on TLC!
