Taylor Swift: Not Dating After Harry Styles — Shocking Rolling Stone Interview
Taylor, 24, is smart and she seems to have an excellent grasp on her emotions, based upon how she describes her love life in her new Rolling Stone interview. Taylor says she’s on a mission to focus on her career and cats, develop great friendships with her female friends. At this time, she doesn’t want to chase men or look for love.
“Like, [I] have not gone on a date,” she told the magazine, regarding her dating life since breaking up with Harry, 20. “People are going to feel sorry for me when you write that. But it’s true.”
Taylor Swift Says Her Dating Life Is A ‘National Pastime’
“I feel like watching my dating life has become a bit of a national pastime,” Taylor sarcastically told the publication. “And I’m just not comfortable providing that kind of entertainment anymore.”
She also said, “I don’t like seeing slide shows of guys I’ve apparently dated. I don’t like giving comedians the opportunity to make jokes about me at awards shows. I don’t like it when headlines read ‘Careful, Bro, She’ll Write a Song About You,’ because it trivializes my work. And most of all,” she continued, “I don’t like how all these factors add up to build the pressure so high in a new relationship that it gets snuffed out before it even has a chance to start. I just don’t date.”
Not only is Taylor NOT dating, but she’s also NOT looking for random hookups.
“I just think it’s pointless if you’re not in love,” she said.
Good for you, Taylor. She’s a very smart woman, indeed. What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers?
