Mara Hoffman Runway — Super Cool Braids At Spring 2015
Mara and CATWALK by TIGI Global Creative Director Nick Irwin paired up to “develop an easy, breezy hair look that speaks perfectly to the effortless, bohemian girl.”
Here’s the how-to:
“Mist clean, dry hair with CATWALK by TIGI Transforming Dry Shampoo to create matte texture.
Separate hair into three sections and gather back section into a low, loose ponytail. Secure with an elastic.
Braid the back section using a 3-strand technique and secure ends with an elastic. Gently knead the braid to loosen, allowing front pieces to fall to frame the face, creating a faux-bob look.
Wrap each side section around the center braid and secure with an elastic.
Gently loosen the finished braid and finish with CATWALK by TIGI Session Series Work It Hairspray.”
Makeup By Maybelline
Head artist Alice Lane told HollywoodLife.com backstage about the makeup look using Maybelline products:
“I used Maple Kiss lipstick as a bronzer. I made it into a cream on my hand then put on cheekbones. I used a Color Tattoo in Inked In Pink on the apples of cheeks. I think blotting papers are better than powder. Use on the center of the forehead and under the inner corner of eyes (above the corners of the nose). Look at children’s faces — that’s the look you want to replicate — red cheeks and a glow. Mara is groovy and very chill!”
