Chris Brown Performing On ‘SNL’ & ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Chris Brown is a busy guy! His sixth studio album “X” is set to hit shelves on September 16, and the singer, 25, is already lining up his full promotional schedule, heading to primetime and late-night.
HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that Chris is set to take the stage on Saturday Night Live and even the ballroom dance floor on Dancing With The Stars.
“In support and promotion for ‘X,’ Chris will be doing the typical promotional slate to get the word out that the album is coming and that will include appearances and performances on both SNL and DWTS,” an insider tells us. “Everyone is very excited for this to happen and Chris really wants to make the appearances very memorable. Should be a very fun time.”
“Obviously things are constantly in flux and changing by the minute,” our DWTS source adds. “He’s done the show before, people are confident they will make it work and are excited for him to do something for the show again.”
We’re so excited, too! We love that Chris is focusing on his music these days, and we have no doubts that “X” could be his best album yet. Between “Loyal” and “New Flame,” the hits are already on our must-listen list.
Although we’d love to see Chris host, at this time, he’s in talks for “performance purposes only.” Our insider adds, “they will not be tapping him to host.”
No word yet on the exact dates that Chris will be performing on the shows, but Dancing With The Stars does happen to premiere September 15 — that’s the day before “X” drops.
SNL returns with Season 40 on September 27, and HollywoodLife.com has learned that Chris is in talks to perform by October. Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea are reportedly performing together on the premiere episode.
HollywoodLifers, are you excited for Chris’ new album? Will you be tuning into all of his performances? Let us know!
