Blake Shelton Reveals He’s Not ‘Reproducing Soon’ With Miranda Lambert — ‘Ellen’ Interview
Blake Shelton and The Voice coaches, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, Sept. 8 to promote to upcoming season of their hit show.
Of course, when you have Blake and Adam in a room together, nothing ever goes off without a good laugh and that’s why we love these guys — specifically Blake. Why? Because he agreed to participate in a one-man drinking game where his fellow judges were tasked with answering questions and if they got the question correct, well, Blake had to take a shot. (Note: Blake tweeted “I’m drinking.” Gotta love this guy!)
However, the best question came even before the vodka was flowing, with Ellen asking the country coach if he plans on “reproducing” anytime “soon.”
Blake’s answer, after a long, hard pause?
Literally — just a flat-out denial! He repeated “no” again, as the audience laughed, and Gwen, who’s a mother-of-three, was urging him saying, “Do it, do it, do it!” (We agree, Gwen!)
We still have hope for Blake and Miranda starting a family — Ellen did ask “soon” so that could just mean that she’s not pregnant yet. Time will tell, but we hope these two do decide to “reproduce” because their babies would be adorable! But as long as country’s golden couple is happy, we’re happy!
During the interview, Adam also dished on married life with his beautiful bride Behati Prinsloo. He was glowing!
The Voice premieres on Sept. 22 (8/7c) on NBC.
