Jill Stuart’s Spring 2015 collection was wearable and oh-so-chic — and it would be great for leading ladies like Katie Holmes and Dakota Fanning!
Jill Stuart‘s Spring 2015 collection is sassy, salty, and even a little bit naughty! The designer knows how to reinvent herself each season, sending one red-carpet-ready collection down the runway after another — and the latest line was no exception! In fact, it is the perfect collection for actresses like Dakota Fanning and Katie Holmes, who gravitate towards chic, wearable separates and love having fun with fashion.
Jill Stuart’s Spring 2015 Collection:
Watching Jill Stuart’s line come down the runway made us feel like we were traveling back in time to the 70s — but with a modern, chic twist. The alluring collection captivated our attention, from one look after another.
Her Spring 2015 line referenced strong traits that make a confident woman, sassy, salty, naughty, golden, witty and sexy — and yes, every outfit that took to the runway incorporated that.
The collection had a type of boyish attitude, but the wearable silhouettes definitely possessed some feminine flair. There were pinstripe separates paired with softer hues, balancing out the presence of the print, while bold solid shades ruled the runway. I was most impressed by the perfect pairing of the blouses and skirts, which complimented one another perfectly. The rich color palette consisted of colors like mauves, nudes and blushes.
Jill Stuart — Celebrities Who Would Love The Line:
One of my favorite outfits was a bright red trouser paired with a nude blouse and that would be perfect for Dakota Fanning, who has a penchant for channeling the 70s. I could totally see her rocking the red carpet at a photo call in the look!
This season Jill Stuart took a liking to suede…and the outcome couldn’t have been better! She had a mauve suede jacket, a creme suede dress and a burnt red suede skirt, all of which Katie Holmes would look stunning in. We know Katie gravitates towards pants, so Jill’s multiple suede pieces would pair great with her trousers, giving her that city chic vibe that’s so in tune with her sense of style.
If trousers and borrowing from the boys isn’t necessarily your thing, don’t fret! Jill stayed true to her flirty and fun ways, sending cute floral dresses and one shoulder numbers down the runway.
Let’s just say we are very excited for next spring to wear her amazing line! Do you agree?
