Serena Williams & Caroline Wozniacki Will Face-Off In U.S. Open Finals
In the semi-finals of the U.S. Open on Sept. 5, Serena rallied to defeat No. 17 seed Ekaterina Makarova 6-1 and 6-3 to move on to the finals on Sept. 7.
This puts Serena in a very good position to claim her third consecutive U.S. Open title.
However, the girl on the other side of the court at Arthur Ashe Stadium for the finals will be a familiar face.
Serena and Caroline are totally BFFs. They’ve vacationed together and hit up NBA basketball games together. Let’s hope this doesn’t impact their friendship!
However, don’t think Caroline hasn’t been playing her best lately. The 24-year-old has been on fire in the tournament. Take that, Rory McIlroy! This marks Caroline’s second appearance in the U.S. Open final.
It’s so hard for us to choose who will win the women’s singles final. They are both so great!
HollywoodLifers, who do you think is going to claim the U.S. Open title? Serena or Caroline? Let us know!
