Still Alice and Julanne Moore:
Directing duo Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland (The Last of Robin Hood) have a keen knack for rendering individual experience, and in Still Alice they find an ideal subject for their talents. Though other films about Alzheimer’s have prioritized its heartbreaking effect on relationships, Glatzer and Westmoreland turn their camera on Alice, detailing her slow decline — and the inventive tactics she employs to delay it — with affecting precision. With impressive performances from the film’s supporting cast, which includes Alec Baldwin, Kristen Stewart and Kate Bosworth, Still Alice will break your heart. But it will also remind you that love is all around you, still.

With all of Kristen’s great reviews you have to believe all her movies scheduled to be released will benefit.

@tt
Yes we will see. Rover has no one that is mentioned for Oscar consideration. Rover never had the overwhelming positive reviews these movies are getting. The Rover did not have 3 standing ovations like Still Alice did or moved the audience like her 3 movies have. Sorry, but the fact is, Rover doesn’t come close in comparison.

@JS. it is hard to compare tear jerkers to bleak and dark. Two completely different genres. We will just have to wait and see if fans will go enough for a good box office.

Standing ovation at the screening of Still Alice. Not a dry eye in the theater. Comments include it being the most moving movie at the Festival.

From myETVmedia
Clouds of Sils Maria Verdict : Highly Recommended. Stewart and Moretz hold their own with respectable performances

From AndPOP
It’s been said countless times now, but Kristen Stewart is genuinely fantastic in Clouds. I’ve been a fan of hers from the beginning (and an apologist as well) but she finally found a role that works for her and lets her shine and she’s genuinely solid (and not that it matters, but she also looks so good throughout). She goes toe-to-toe with Binoche who, as always, is wicked.

Joseph Falcone gonewiththemovies.com/cinekatz.com/cinekatz.com
“Juliette Binoche is lovely in ‘Clouds of Sils Maria,’ but Kristen Stewart is brilliant, pure and simple…”

Randy Perry Independent movie critic
“I liked, to varying degress, the other movies I saw today, but standout was definitely CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA. That’ll stay with me.”

Twitter
I saw Clouds of Sils Maria today! Juliette Binoche and Kristen Stewart did an amazing job! It was so good! If you’re not Kristen Stewart fan, you will be after

Absolutely loved Sils Maria. The docudrama style acting by Juliette Binoche & Kristen Stewart was undeniably captivating

Film School Rejects
GRADE: A. COSM “the attraction between Stewart and Binoche is palpable Stewart is magnetic…she’s sexy, confident & articulate,w/oversized rims and enough vulnerability to draw you in”
