Chris, 25, has a million projects on his plate, including the forthcoming release of his new album X, and he’s burying himself in his work in order to keep out of trouble, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“X is all that’s on his mind and he’s excited and real happy that the album is about to drop. That’s keeping his mind occupied,” a source close to Breezy revealed. “All of his energy is there — on his music and career.”
In fact, we’ve learned Chris was frightened when gunshots flew through 1Oak night club, where the singer hosted a pre-VMAs party on Aug. 23, and the incident has made him think twice about stepping foot into clubs.
“He’s going to keep a low profile and if he wants to turn up, he’ll just do it at his house, with a handful of selected people and Karrueche [Tran],” the source said.
Chris Brown: Thankful D.C. Court Case Is Behind Him
Our source said Chris feels like a new man now that his long and overly drawn out court case, stemming from an Oct. 2013 incident, is behind him.
“He’s glad it’s over,” the source continued. “That was a hurdle for him to jump, but now it’s behind him and he’s trying to go ahead and keep his mind off the courts and all the bullsh** that’s plagued him for the past few years.”
