The body of a little girl who went missing from her own bed in the middle of the night has been found just a short distance from her home. Sadly, the mystery of how Bella Grogan-Cannella disappeared is still looming over her family.
Bella Grogan-Cannella, 8, was found lifeless just one mile from her Bullhead City, Arizona home after going missing in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Sept. 2. Police have not ruled out that she may have been abducted, even though her home reportedly showed no signs of a break in or struggle. So sad.
Arizona Girl’s Body Found After Going Missing From Her Home
A family received devastating news when a young girl’s body was found on Wednesday, Sept. 3 just one mile from their home.
The body of Bella Grogan-Cannella was found in an empty wash just 36 hours after she allegedly went missing. She was last seen around 11:40pm inside her family home just before going to bed.
Although police have not yet publicly identified the body as Bella, her father, Roy Cannella, confirmed the news on his Facebook page in a heartbreaking post, reports the Daily Mail.
“As Bella’s father would like to thank everyone for their condolences what has happened to my daughter. It’s a loss no parent should ever have to endure. At this time we have no information as to who did this to her and we ask that if you know anything please contact authorities or myself,” the post read.
One neighbor reportedly spotted a “suspicious-looking” man outside of the house the night that Bella went missing, however that man remains unidentified. Police were still investigating outside of the home, and they have reportedly not ruled out abduction despite the fact that Bella’s home mysteriously showed no signs of struggle or break-in.
According to reports, the young girl was extremely well behaved and would not have left the house without asking permission first — especially at such a late hour when she should have been in bed.
Our thoughts go out to Bella’s family and friends during this difficult time.
