It was a night full of caves and new romances. With the arrival of Brooks and Tasos, everyone who was confident with their summer flings, were thrown a wrench… plus, Christy found out about Jesse’s (very) dirty little secrets!
Bachelor in Paradise is almost over! September 1st was the final rose ceremony and with fan favorites, Brooks Forester and Tasos Hernandez coming in as the last new guests, it was no surprise that all the men were nervous. But they weren’t the only ones. While one couple was really securing their relationship, that all changed with Brooks’ arrival!
‘Bachelor In Paradise’: L Words Everywhere
Marcus chose Lacy
Marcus headed on his date with Lacy, who finally admitted that she’s falling love with him — the phrase he was waiting to hear. Meanwhile, Michelle did not want to hear it, but Cody already said it. She got advice from love expert, Jesse, while Cody lifted sand rocks on the beach. Yes, really.
Not to worry though, they later had a heart-to-heart when they agreed they’re at different places but they both wanted to spend more time together. I’m totally Team Cody, so I’m all about them.
Sarah Gets Confused Over Brooks
Brooks Chose Jackie
Sarah also seemed to finally be happy with Robert — until Brooks showed up. She admitted that she came to Paradise to see him, as they met at ATFR and hit it off. She was confused as to what to do, but before he even asked her on a date, Robert told him, “If you ask her, I’ll kill you. That’s my bae. She’s my babay.” So, he asked Jackie (who Zack came to Paradise to meet). Are you following?
After they returned from their dinner and foosball date, Sarah decided she needed to end things with Robert — but she first found a love note from him! So, they met on the beach to talk and she really realized that actually she did really like him. For some reason, I’ve got a feeling this may not happen.
Zack chose Jackie
Jackie was the lucky lady of the night! Zack got the date card next and took her! (Sorry AshLee, who was not happy that she and Graham didn’t get a date.) It was super romantic and again in a cave — they totally hit it off and it may have been one of the most romantic ones I’ve seen on the season.
Jesse’s True Colors Come Out
Meanwhile, Christy was falling for Jesse — until Michelle filled her in that he had been sexually involved with Lucy. He apparently felt her up on the way home from their date last week, before hooking up again with Christy. Aren’t sure that’s what happened? Well, he did tell us exclusively, “Lucy and I had a great time on the date and it continued on the ride back to paradise.”
Now, I know what he meant.
Lucky for Christy, Tasos showed up at the right moment and swept her away on a date. There wasn’t a ton of sparks, but we definitely could see the attraction. So, right before the rose ceremony, Christy told Jesse she was over it, but of course he turned it around on her and left before she got to even say what upset her. But Lacy and Michelle weren’t going to let him make her feel bad.
So, they escorted to Christy to the car he was in so she could stick up for herself, and it was actually adorable — the girls confronted him for allegedly bragging to all the guys about the hookups he had! Michelle came to Christy’s defense, saying that while he had a good time, he hurt her badly. The house all agreed that they were better without him.
And The Roses Go To…
It was time for the rose ceremony. So, who chose who? Here’s the breakdown:
Lacy gives her rose to Marcus
AshLee gives her rose to Graham
Sarah gives her rose to Robert
Michelle gives her rose to Michelle
Christy gives her rose to Tasos
Jackie gives her rose to Zack
That means the end of Brooks’ time, which makes me so sad — but I love Zack, too. Do you think Jackie should have chosen Brooks? Did she make the right choice? Will she and Zack last? Let me know!
