The bride-to-be looks beautiful on the cover of ‘Martha Stewart Weddings’ — and inside she shows off the gorgeous gowns she designed, specifically for her wedding. How cool is that?
Lauren Conrad is gearing up for her wedding day — and she’s doing so in a very personal way! The 27-year-old bride-to-be added unique touches to her wedding day by designing the dresses for her nine bridesmaids herself — and the best part is, soon you’ll be able to shop the looks, too! Lauren was photographed by Kayt Jones for Martha Stewart Weddings, where she enlisted her a few of her pals, (who are also a part of her big day!), to share a sneak peek from the upcoming line.
Lauren Conrad’s Bridesmaid Dresses:
Not only is she busy with her wedding day, but she’s also gearing up for the launch of Paper Crown Bridesmaids, a line of 12 different dresses that she swears your bridesmaids can actually wear again. For the shoot, she enlisted five of her nine bridemaids to model the silhouettes in the Fall 2014 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
So, how did she select the dresses for her own nuptials? “I sent them all the different shapes and let them pick from two colors. I don’t mind if there are a few girls in the same dress, or if people are all in different ones. It’s too difficult to take a group of girls and put them in the same color and silhouette; everyone has their own style,” she tells the mag.
As for the color palette, she kept it clean and simple. “They’re all wearing the same two colors, so it’s all the same color scheme. I don’t think it needs to look too cohesive. They’re all individuals, so it’s nice that it doesn’t look too uniform,” she says.
