It’s no secret that 50 Cent has had a tough life, but in Music Choice Play’s new show, ‘Chronicles,’ he’s revealing that he sees things in a different light — and it’s because of Americas love for tragedy. Watch the exclusive clip here!

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is preparing to release his next album with G-Unit, and has made his mark on the acting world, too. However, in Chronicles, he’s opening up on the tragedy around him throughout his life — and how he can relate to Britney Spears. Watch the season premiere on Aug. 26 at 8pm!

50 Cent In ‘Chronicle’

The new show on Music Choice Play will look at the careers and the every-day lives of artists — and show a detail look of their successes. So, who better to kick it off than 50 Cent.

“In my career, I had a lot of energy around me . . . it was only happening because America loves tragedy,” he said in the preview — an exclusive clip given to “My show was to appear as out of control as possible while being in control. A lot of the people that I grew up with wouldn’t have the ability to do both. It’s easier to be out of control.”

In the clip, he also touches about the way America looks at celebrities like him — and like Britney Spears.

“I watched artists that we all pointed to and appreciated, and said were great artists — like Britney Spears,” he said. “Seeing Britney Spears at a point where she was experiencing some confusion which would be the most vulnerable state for an actual artist.”

Watch the exclusive clip to see what else 50 had to say. Then, tune into 50 Cent’s episode of Chronicles on Aug. 26 and every Tuesday on Music Choice Play (check local listings)!
