Chris Brown Shooter: Singer Appears To Confront Gunman At Club
Chris’s pre-VMA bash came to a shocking end when gunshots were fired inside the club during the party. It seems that Chris attempted to stop the gunman or maybe didn’t know exactly what was going on.
In a video from the shooting, Chris appears to try and stand up on a table while the gunshots rang out, according to Daily Mail. Security repeatedly told the singer to “get down.” You can see people attempting to pull Chris down. Check out the video below.
Was Chris trying to be brave and save those around him from injury? Did he not hear the shots being fired? The commotion inside the party was extremely loud. All the sounds seem muffled together in a video obtained by TMZ of the actual shooting.
Regardless of what Chris was trying to do, we’re just glad that he’s OK. The singer is still set to attend the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards tonight.
HollywoodLife.com reached out to Chris’ reps concerning the shooting. Here’s what they had to say:
“Chris hosted an event in Los Angeles last night to celebrate the upcoming release of his album X, during which an incident occurred. This incident did not involve Chris; he was merely the host of the event. He has and will continue to cooperate with the investigation.”
However, not everyone came out of the party shooting unscathed. Music producer Suge was shot six times and two more were injured. One is reportedly in critical condition.

The Death Row Records founder was hit by six flying bullets at the party. He walked out of the club afterwards and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. After surgery, Suge is expected to be recover.
Fans reacted strongly to the shooting and are calling for “justice.” There’s no word yet on any suspect, but HollywoodLife.com previously reported that even though Chris hosted the party, he “didn’t have anything to do with that situation.”
Our thoughts and well wishes go out to Suge and the victims at this time. We’re glad no one else was hurt in this terrifying ordeal.
