The first trailer for ‘Men, Women & Children,’ which stars Adam Sandler, Ansel Elgort and Jennifer Garner, is finally here! The flick, which is based on the book by Chad Kultgen, looks dramatic and intriguing. Watch it below!
Ansel Elgort, 20, joins an all-star cast including Adam Sandler, 47, and Jennifer Garner, 42, in a movie that deals with the highs and lows of the digital world we live in today. The first sneak peek features deeply personal text messages, cheating themes and a crying scene with Ansel.
‘Men, Women & Children’ Trailer — Ansel Elgort In New Teaser
Jason Reitman directed and co-wrote this movie. The emotional trailer heavily focuses on teenagers and their complicated relationships through text messaging.
We get to see a mix of montages featuring Ansel, Adam and Jennifer. At one point we see Adam’s character, who wears a wedding ring, looking at an escort website. Another scene takes place in a high school lunch room. When a fellow student picks on a girl sitting next to Ansel’s character, he reacts very harshly. We also see Jennifer’s character sitting on a bed, looking lonely and staring at her iPhone.
‘Discover How Little You Know About the People You Know’
The last line in the trailer says, “Discover how little you know about the people you know.” It’s a chilling reminder of how little we actually do know about the people we spend our days emailing and texting.
This film will explore how the internet has changed the characters’ relationships and communication with each other, their perception of themselves and their love lives!
