Madison spoke with us in June, when the music video came out for “Unbreakable” — and reiterated the positive message behind the song.
“I love the whole message and it’s definitely something that I live by just because it’s hard sometimes to stay true to yourself and not feel weird around other people,” she said. “It’s hard to stay strong sometimes, especially when you are going through some things that normal people wouldn’t go through. It’s really an important thing to me.”
Plus, she admitted that her mentor, Justin Bieber, has helped her stay positive and even stop reading any negativity.
“The whole ‘Unbreakable’ theme is that you have to be strong and not read into the mean things. Even Justin would say to me: ‘You can’t read it, even though it’s upsetting,'” she added.
We’d say that’s good advice. However, we’re not sure why she’d ever get negative comments — her new song is amazing, and the acoustic version is even better than the recorded one! Watch it above, then let us know your thoughts!
