Savannah Guthrie: ‘Today Show’ Host Welcomes Baby Girl
Savannah’s little one is already just like mom! Vale Guthrie Feldman was born early on Aug. 13, according to Savannah’s Twitter.
The Today Show co-host tweeted, “My 3am wake up call sounds a lot different now. Sweeter…”
Vale weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz., and measured 19.5 inches long.
Savannah’s bundle of joy “has blue eyes, a little bit of blondish hair and the chubbiest cheeks you’ve ever seen,” the Today Show co-host said, according to TODAY.com. “I think we found heaven in this little hospital room in New York City.”
Savannah’s co-anchor, Matt Lauer, revealed how he found out about the birth on the Aug. 14 show. The two were texting throughout the day on Aug. 13 and then she went silent for a few hours. When Matt texted her back, Savannah sent him a picture of the Vale’s tiny foot. So cute!
Once the news broke, the Today Show family and fans began using the #CongratsSavannah hashtag to congratulate the co-host.
We are so happy for Savannah and Michael! Vale is simply beautiful!
