Christy Mack is showing the world just how tough she truly is! After suffering a horrific attack, allegedly at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, MMA fighter Jon Koppenhaver (aka War Machine), Christy is in the hospital with 18 broken bones, among other serious injuries. But the 23-year-old already sees a light at the end of the tunnel, and she’s telling friends that she will return to work as a porn star as soon as she recovers, HollywoodLife.com is EXCLUSIVELY reporting.

Christy is currently in the hospital recovering from massive injuries she sustained when her ex-boyfriend Jon allegedly attacked her and her male friend on Aug. 8.

Christy’s injuries are so severe that it’s difficult to even write about them. The poor woman has “18 broken bones around her eyes, a broken nose, missing teeth, a fractured rib and a ruptured liver,” according to TMZ. But Christy is such a trooper that she wants to resume working the minute she gets out of that hospital bed.

“She has a long road ahead of her to heal but she knows that when she is 100 percent healthy, she will return to porn,” a source close to Christy reveals to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “With all the news on her and this situation, she knows that people will be more interested in her work and she will take advantage of that and get some great pay days out if it.”

Christy Mack Thanks Her Twitter Followers For Their Support

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Christy has been incredibly gracious and humble following the Aug. 8 attack that nearly killed her. She even took to Twitter to thank her followers for their support.

Christy tweeted on Aug. 12, “I would like to thank everyone for the support and kind thoughts over the past few days. I will never be able to express my gratitude.”

As for War Machine, his whereabouts remain unknown. Las Vegas police have issued a warrant for his arrest, and there’s also a $10,000 reward for anyone who has information leading to his whereabouts.

Sadly, he joked about killing Christy during an interview from July 2013.
