No matter how you look at the video, the old saying still stands true… Two wrongs don’t make a right. Ward should have stayed in the car as required by the rules and Tony being a smart a** was wrong trying to spray him with dirt. It was not funny and ended in a death when both parties broke track rules.
I didn’t know who Ward Jr was, and don’t much care for Tony. I pray for the Ward family and friends to find comfort in knowing that Kevin was doing what he loved and not to let anger and hate fill their lives. It’s unfortunate that Tony will have the rest of his life affected by this and knowing his mistake killed Kevin Ward. I pray he’s learned something from this tragic accident.

I saw Ward race his last race the night before at Oshweken Speedway on First Nations. Ward is mild mannered and not a hot head. He was a rising star with a full time career ahead of him
Stewart has done the same thing in a NASCAR race and even threw his helmet at a car on the track. Another Sprint Driver McKinney who was in the same race said that he saw Ward when he went by. He said he believes that Stewart hit him on purpose.
A year earlier Stewart admitted to causing a 15 car pile up at the same track where a lady driver suffered a broken back.
Jessica Zemken from the same series was sponsored by Stewart for entire season. When that relationship ended Stewart gave her two very large race haulers, two Sprint Cars which cost $35,000 a piece BTW and a very large sum of additional hush money for an unspeakable act he did against her. I got this information from a relative of her current sponsor.
Stewart belongs in jail. I hope he goes to Attica!

the article says it all, he wanted to talk to Tony, who happened to be going real fast. If you absolutley have to talk to a Tony of any type, always avoid the speeding metal….

I can tell you from a driver’s stand point in a drivers meeting the first thing they tell you is do not get out of your race car until the medical team arrive’s for the safety of you and others it is the rules at every track that you go to race at safety. is for the drivers and the fans.

Tony Stewart is a professional not a guy out there trying to hurt someone it’s just plain stupid and ignorant to say he hit him on purpose. Racing in his whole life and he try’s to help young racers not run them over. It’s very sad that that happened but those type of race cars don’t have the same speed under caution as nascar. They tell the drivers not to get out of there cars unless there is a fire in all drivers meetings before each race. Blame the man running around on a dark track not the guy who is following another car who almost hit him as well. I guess people are going to see what the want but the fact is, it was something that should have never happened.

Sadly I have watched this video several times ..I don’t think Tony cut him off , he was to far right in the turn .. and went into the wall … AND he lost his temper and got out of the car .. in the dark with Black on .. you can see the car in front of Tony swerve a little to miss him and then IN A SPLIT SEC you see Tonys car .. there WAS NO WAY that Tony could have seen him past the car in front of him and THERES NO WAY that he swerved to hit him , you can tell he didn’t fish tail until AFTER the contact ..
thought and prayers to this kids family … Last of all he had NO business getting out of that car in the first place !!!

I don’t watch Nascar either but it doesn’t look like his car fishtails at all until AFTER (during) he hits Kevin. Of course the back of his car would move if he hit something.

I don’t really care about the personalities of the drivers here, I don’t watch Nascar, however, since when is it ok to run on a live track, in front of a race car?

And since when is it ok for Stewart to GUN it on a caution, and deliberately fishtail and hit the guy?

If you watch the video you’ll see that he fishtails it away from Kevin, not into him. He was trying to avoid him.

Doesn’t matter. No one in their right mind would run onto a live track, and put themselves in front of a race car coming toward them. Kevin Ward was in the wrong on this. It cost him his life.

Bad Kitty, pedestrians may have the right of way, but a car has the right of WEIGHT, and that always wins in a conflict between the two. Just ask young Kevin there. Oops, you can’t, he’s dead. I guess that proves my point right there now doesn’t it.

Why in the world don’t they tell the truth?.Kevin Ward Jr had no right running into the middle of the track ranting at someone while those cars were speeding like that. Why do you guys headline your story to make Tony Stewart look like some killer. It should have headlined Hotheaded Kevin Ward Jr rants into the track and gets killed. So sad that accidents happen everyday but some can be prevented.

The last thing your looking for is someone one the track in these races with the cars usually
at 60,70, &80 degrees to the track when racing, with blind spots in the posts and with a car in front of you, your focused on it, not someone on the track and like a bad dream something like this happens. Yes racing is tough but your protection is your car and there is no way any of the Nascar Drivers would try and hit or hurt another driver on the track with there car especially, they love racing , the sport and each other, even though there like a very close family, brothers and sisters fight but, they always stick together in the end. We have all seen it before in the pits, on the track, but they all are on the same team Nascar and they got there working very hard, with rules of the game. This was truly a very tragic accident like all accidents when we lose a driver, we all lose a friend in Nascar.

This is what happen when you let toad rage get to you. There was no reason for him to die except for his own ego.

Tragic, but Kevin Ward Jr.was killed by his own anger.

Tony Stewart hit him and killed him and knew what he was doing .None of the other drivers hit him walking on the track but Stewart hit him and now it in Ward family rights of what to do and all the other drivers are not murders or killers cause none of them hit him and killed him so now Tony Stewart must face God cause God knows his heart and what he did…
