Drake took to Twitter, Aug. 6, to tell the world that even though he flashed Rihanna’s face next to the numbers 666, most commonly connected with the sign of the devil, he has nothing but love for his ex-girlfriend. HollywoodLifers, do you buy it?
Drake wants everyone to hold on before they go assuming he just called Rihanna the devil. It all started during his concert in Toronto, Aug. 4, when he flashed 6 burning sixes on a screen behind him and then RiRi’s face popped up. But he’s telling the world that his message was not meant to be mean, and that it has nothing to do with insinuating she’s evil.
Drake Apologizes For Calling Rihanna The Devil
The rapper immediately posted a message to his Twitter, telling his over 15 million fans that he was not dissing his ex.
“My album title is VIEWS FROM THE 6,” he wrote. “The 6 is Toronto. Rih is a great girl who I know is about to kill this tour with Eminem. It’s all love!!”
Hmm, we aren’t too sure if we are buying this but he is a great guy, so we hope he is telling the truth.
Drake — Did He Call Rihanna The Devil?
Drake was singing his song “Days of East,” which everyone already thinks is about Rihanna.
In the song he sings: “Why am I the one you wanna get into it with for the drama? I’ve got a lot to say, and that’s the last thing a ni**a wanna hear right now.”
Immediately fans of both stars began slamming Drake for dissing RiRi.
But Drake’s upcoming, fourth album, Views From The Six, is about to come out, and perhaps it really didn’t have anything to do with her!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Drake is apologizing?
