Michael Johns Dies: ‘American Idol’ Finalist Autopsy Report Revealed
As we previously reported, a medical team at the Orange County Coroner’s Office is “deferring the cause of death… pending toxicology results,” according to a new report by TMZ.
While that report claims that “heavy alcohol use” may have played a role in Michael’s death, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Michael’s death was “completely unexpected” and that “drinking wasn’t an issue” for the singer. The insider also tells us that those closest to Michael believe that a blood clot in the singer’s ankle is what caused his death. “They would be surprised if it turns out to be anything else,” our source says. Michael’s loved ones are “bashing” the “claims that alcohol or something else had anything to do with it.”
Michael will be missed. Our thoughts are with Michael’s loved ones during this difficult time.
